It all began with a stroopwafel, as well as a desire to bake pure, not overly sweet, delicious food. Anna Gordon, founder and pastry chef extraordinaire, received many requests for fresh stroopwafel, and she was finally able to deliver. The Brooklyn-based company has expanded beyond the stroopwafel to include a variety of cookies, but our hearts will always belong to the one that started it all.

Stroopwafel: This traditional take on the Dutch vanilla wafer cookie is highly addictive. You have been warned. We love it warmed over a cup of coffee or dipped into a bowl of vanilla bean ice cream.
